Sales & Investigation Phase

  • Initial Consultation and Needs Assessment: Engage with the client to understand their business, challenges, and objectives. This is crucial for tailoring the project scope to their specific needs.

  • Activities: Client meetings, business analysis, needs identification.

  • Proposal Submission: Based on the initial consultation, submit a detailed proposal outlining the project scope, proposed solution, timeline, and cost.

  • Activities: Proposal development, solution briefing, cost estimation.

  • Contract Agreement: Finalize the project contract, including scope, timeline, deliverables, and payment terms.

  • Payment Milestone: 10% upon contract signing.
     

Initiation Phase

  • Project Kick-off: Officially start the project with a kick-off meeting to introduce the team, confirm project objectives, and discuss the project plan.

  • Activities: Kick-off meeting, project scheduling, team introduction.

  • Requirement Gathering: Detailed collection and analysis of all project requirements.

  • Activities: Stakeholder interviews, requirement workshops, documentation.

  • Solution Design & Planning: Outline the solution architecture and project plan, including technologies to be used, major components, and execution strategy.

  • Payment Milestone: 20% after detailed project plan and design are approved.

 

Definition Phase

  • Team Assembly: Assemble the project team based on the defined roles and responsibilities.

  • Activities: Recruitment, team assignments, access and account setup.

  • Environment Setup: Prepare the development, testing, and production environments.

  • Activities: Software installations, tool configurations, access controls.

  • Project Roadmap: Develop a detailed roadmap, including milestones, delivery dates, and checkpoints.

  • Payment Milestone: 20% upon completion of environment setup and roadmap approval.

 

Design & Development Phase

  • Prototype Development: Create and refine prototypes for key components of the solution.

  • Activities: Prototyping, client reviews, feedback incorporation.

  • Development Sprints: Conduct iterative development sprints to implement functionality based on the project roadmap.

  • Activities: Coding, internal testing, sprint reviews.

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Facilitate UAT sessions to ensure the solution meets client requirements.

  • Payment Milestone: 25% after UAT and client approval of the developed solution.

 

Deployment & Release Phase

  • Final Preparations: Complete final system setup, configuration, and readiness checks.

  • Activities: Final configuration, system health checks, documentation.

  • Launch: Officially launch the project, making the solution live and accessible to end-users.

  • Activities: Go-live, launch communication, initial monitoring.

  • Payment Milestone: 15% upon successful launch and go-live.

 

Maintenance & Support Phase

  • Post-launch Support: Provide one month of complimentary maintenance and support, including bug fixes, minor adjustments, and user support.

  • Activities: Monitoring, issue resolution, user support.

  • Extended Support Agreement: Offer options for ongoing support and maintenance beyond the complimentary period, based on client needs.

  • Payment for Extended Support: Negotiated separately from the project contract, typically as a monthly retainer or on a per-case basis.
     

This process ensures a structured approach to project execution, with clear deliverables and payment milestones that align with the completion of critical phases, offering transparency and predictability for both the client and the service provider.
